Iran and Iraq renew their collaboration on blood transfusion
During a visit made by a delegation from Iraqi Ministry of Health to Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization (IBTO), both parties agreed to extend their collaboration through the MoU signed in 2011.

During a visit made by a delegation from Iraqi Ministry of Health to Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization (IBTO), both parties agreed to extend their collaboration through the MoU signed in 2011.

In a joint meeting held between the authorities of IBTO, High Institute Of Education and Research in Transfusion Medicine and Iraqi delegation headed by Dr. Ramzi Rasoul Mansour( International Health Manager/Minister’s Office), parties discussed the ways of joint cooperation and the details of a new action plan. Holding short-term training courses on blood transfusion process, establishment and improvement of Quality Control & Assurance in Iraqi National Blood Bank, transfer of technology and experience and providing educational support were proposed to be included in the action plan.

During this visit different parts of IBTO headquarter including Quality Control Laboratories, High Institute for Research & Education in Transfusion Medicine and National cord Blood Bank visited by Iraqi team.
